Studio7 Pilates was opened in the spring of 2011. The studio is relatively small and caters to groups no larger than 4. Despite it’s relatively small size, the studio is well equiped with the classic appartus including a reformer, cadillac, chair, barrel and many small accessories to keep classes varied and challlenging.
Sandy is owner and primary instructor of the studio. She is a Balanced Body trained instructor as well as a trained pre/post natal specialist and personal trainer. She also has a long history as a fitness instructor and teaches weekly classes at a local gym outside of her studio clientele. Sandy’s teaching is highly influenced by Feldenkrais and Franklin Methods, Katy Bowman’s Restorative Exercise, Erwan LeCorre’s MovNat as well as yoga teaching in the Desikachar tradition.
